Mr. Gorman was distraught frantically pacing back and forth down the corridors of the Hilton as Bryan Smith-Harmon had locked himself in his hotel room and refuses to come out.
Gorman walks up to the door resting his head against it. “Bryan why don’t you come out we can talk about this.” Gorman says into the door. The sound of a vase breaking on the door sends Gorman back a few feet. Gorman puts his hands over his face in frustration, “Ok Bryan that is enough come on we have work to do” Gorman mumbles through his hands.
Bryan Smith-Harmon had a commercial to do for a used car dealership; they were nice enough to pay for his room, the room he was now wrecking. The fear of the damage coming out of his commission was driving Gorman up a wall. “Bryan everyone knows you wouldn’t have lost to what ever his name if Ash hadn’t throw powder in your eyes.” Bryan’s response is silence. “Bryan…” Gorman says as he walks towards the door.
The sick sound of wood cracking sends Gorman jumping backwards again as a rather large foot shaped dent appears on the door. “I hate him!” Smith-Harmon screams from the other side of the door. The screams are followed by other loud bangs.
“What the fuck!” Gorman says as he shakes his head. “What the fuck did I get myself into?” Gorman mumbles to himself.
BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, it sounds like he is slamming the bed frame into the wall or something. Gorman can’t be for sure, but he knows that noise isn’t good, and the other guests in the hotel are starting to get a little pissed off.
“Hey what the hell is going on in there” An 50-something year old lady with a southern accent screams as she half opens her door.
“Mind your fucking business lady.” Gorman says as he launches his phone at the lady who closes her door. The phone breaks into about a dozen pieces upon impact.
“I am calling the cops!” the lady says from behind the door.
“Fucking bitch!” Gorman paces back and forth before he starts banging on Bryan’s door. “Come on Bryan we need to get the fuck out of here!” Gorman starts screaming the frustration now all consuming.
All is quite when Bryan opens the door up a little. “Mr. Go-Go-Gorman that dis a bad word, and you are not supposed to say bad words like dat.” Bryan remarks with a childish look on his face.
“Let me in!” Gorman starts pushing on the door with all his might, but Bryan effortlessly stands there keeping the door exactly where it is. Smith-Harmon starts laughing, and Gorman stands up and brushes off his suite. “Oh you think that is funny huh? How funny is it going to be when the cops get here and we both get arrested huh?” Gorman lectures Bryan.
“I don’t care if I get a-a-a-a-a-arrested.” Smith-Harmon stutters.
Gorman smiles, “But Bryan you wouldn’t get to see your mama again, and you wouldn’t be able to redeem yourself, by facing Ethan Rose.” Gorman says.
“I wou-wou-wou-wouldn’t?” Bryan asks.
“Nope, no more wrestling no more seeing your mama, no chance of making your daddy proud of you.” Gorman says with a smile ear to ear, he knows he has found something that will work.
“I ah, I ah, I ah, I don’t want to not wrestle. I want to wrestle, Mr. Ga-Ga-Ga-Gorman please tell me dis is not true?” Bryan says as he begins to loose his grip on the door.
“It is true Bryan, and if you don’t get your ass moving now, I am going to have to call Core Wrestling, and tell them you can’t show up, and then you will never even have a chance to get a shot at their Heavyweight title, and your father will never love you.” Gorman says his words meant to motivate Bryan out of the room possible, fuel him with enough desire to go to The CW show and beat the living hell out of Ethan Rose.
It kind of backfires though. “But I want my daddy to love me.” Bryan says tears rolling down his face. “I want my daddy to love me! I want my daddy to love me! I want my daddy to love me! I want my daddy to love me!” Bryan screams as he beats his head into the door frame.
“Ah fuck” Gorman is no almost in tears himself as his frustration is getting the best of him.
An then as if a light bulb went on over his head “If you beat Ethan Rose, and win the Core Heavyweight title, I will get you a match booked with Ash, and I will get your daddy to come, and watch you be a good wrestler.” Gorman pleads.
“Really” Bryan says half crying.
“Really. Now lets go.” Gorman says.
Police sirens are heard, and Bryan starts looking out the window, Gorman grabs Bryan by the arm and the two start running down the hallway.
