I didn't get a chance to talk to any of the higher ups about this yet so I don't know if there would be any additional prize to it all.
I cut the field of 32 from last year down to 16 as I felt like the waiting time between signing up and the fourth division actually having a match was a month and that was too long. Cutting down the numbers means that no one participating in this tournament will ever have more then a card off.
I feel like this got a good response last year and am looking forward to doing it again this year, this time however I have some help which will be good. Also those that lose or whom didn't sign up in time and want to be on other cards during the tournament are more then welcomed as well.
Sign up if you want, if the response is overwhelming I will consider making it a 32 person affair, also the following people have spots held for them if they decide to participate again this year.
Jon Smith- 2005 South America Division, Atlantic, and Global Cup Champion
Wendy Breise- 2005 Asian Division, Pacific Cup Champion
King X- 2005 Australian Division Champion
Ty Walker- 2005 European Division Champion
All entrances for the Global Cup itself must be in by August 28th as the contestants will be announced at SG day 2
